FRUITFUL IN AFFLICTION

ADM. IBEREDEM AKPAN CHARGES CHRISTIANS TO BE FRUITFUL IN AFFLICTION.

Adm. Iberedem Akpan began by reading from the book of Genesis 48:17. He defined affliction as a cause of persistent pain of the body or mind. The Cleric pointed out that it could be in form of sickness, losses, delay, calamity, adversity or persecution.

Furthermore, The Minister charged the church to be very productive and fruitful despite the present challenges they face. Setting an example, he noted that Moses and Joseph were fruitful even in Affliction.

In conclusion, the cleric urged the congregation to be fruitful and persist even in Affliction as their fruitfulness will deliver them from their toils and father’s failure.

BE CAREFUL, THEN, HOW YOU LIVE

REV. O. T. BENSON URGES CHRISTIANS TO BE VERY CAREFUL, THEN, HOW THEY LIVE

Rev. O. T. Benson commenced by reading Ephesians 5:15-17, where Apostle Paul literally speaks on how Christians should live in the world. He noted that the times and seasons are dangerous and as such, Christians should live right according to the will of God.

The Minister further pointed out that it is the will of God for His Children to be careful in what they do, whether people are watching or not. Thus, Christians must guard themselves and pay attention to every action they take.

In conclusion, the Cleric urged Christians to be very careful how they live their lives because life is governed by laws which bring about results of whatsoever one does. Therefore, the difference between who you are today and who you want to be depends on what you do.
