ELDER DAVID ETUKUDO EXHORTS CHRISTIANS TO SACRIFICE THEIR WATERPOT
Elder David Etukudo began by defining sacrifice as the act of giving up something important to have something else. The minister pointed out that when a person sacrifices something, such a person does it with faith, and also does it expectantly.
The book of John 4:27-30 talks about the encounter the Samaritan woman had with Jesus at Jacob’s well. She sacrificed her water pot and rushed into the city to testify about what took place in her life. Thus, she abandoned her old ways of life and embraced JESUS.
In furtherance, the Minister urged the Church to sacrifice their time, resources, service and whatever will give glory to God. He noted that JESUS himself sacrificed His life for the Church. Conclusively, the Preacher noted that there are blessings of sacrificing unto GOD, most essentially, eternal life.
