REV. O. T. BENSON URGES CHRISTIANS NOT TO FEAR
The Cleric began his sermon by reminding Christians that they should always trust in God and not be afraid of anything despite the prevailing circumstances. The Bible Reading was taken from Isaiah 41:8-13 and the Minister expounded on the definition of “fear”. He pointed out that fear is a tool in which the devil uses to hinder our progress.
Furthermore, the Cleric explained that fear has a paralyzing effect on the church and individual Christians. It was also noted by the Minister that the time of fear is the time to put their total trust in God.
Conclusively, the church was urged by the Minister to always remain steadfast in God and not live a life of fear. It is important to therefore believe and trust the supremacy of God because he that fears God fears nobody else
