REDEEMING THE TIME

A SOLEMN CALL ON CHRISTIANS TO REDEEM THE TIME BY ELDER ENOBONG ATAT.

Elder Enobong Atat began his sermon by reminding Christians that time is a precious gift from God to mankind and as such, our most possession.

Thus, time is an essential component of life. The minister further noted that we cannot retrieve time, relive it, stretch it, borrow it, loan it, stop it or store it. It is therefore important to redeem the lost time.

In redeeming the time, four steps were listed to keep our hearts and minds in the right perspective regarding the time.
They are:

The brevity of time and the length of eternity.

Realize the uncertainty of tomorrow.

Learn to say NO and understanding what the will of God is.

Be wise as serpents (Mathew 10:16).

The cleric concluded by noting that we cannot afford to be idle and as such, our priorities should be prayer, bible reading, working in spirit, witnessing and not in vain talks.

Nonetheless, in redeeming the time, we must live our lives as unto God.
