The superintendent, Rev. O. T. Benson, commemorated the end of the Mission’s Week with the topic “Returning to Thy First Love.” The Bible reading was taken from Revelation 2:2-5. The Pastor charged the Church to go back to her first love which is missions. He declared that mission is the heartbeat of God.
After a brief Charge, the man of God led the congregation into a powerful session of prayers. He read from 1Kings 18:46, laying emphasis on the power of the Hands of God in a Christian’s life, and the various advantages associated with it. He cited the benefits as pertaining protection, deliverance and breakthrough. He also made known to the congregation that when God’s hand is upon one’s life, the person is untouchable and free from all evil.
The prayers were for divine speed in all areas of life, exceeding progress in everything we do, blessings upon our lives and that of our families, and the fulfillment of the youth’s/children’s destinies.
